1. DEFINITIONS
Hello!
This Webography intends to help anyone who is interested in the study of Black English, also known as African American Vernacular English (AAVE), African American English, Black Vernacular, Black English Vernacular (BEV), Black Vernacular English (BVE) and Ebonics.
It was divided in four sections. The first one contains definitions of the subject from a number of fonts. The second section has academic researches - mainly from Dr. John R. Rickford, professor of the Department of Linguistics from Stanford University, CA. The third section presents the Oakland Case, explained below. Finally, this Webography presents some curiosities and fun articles on Black English.
